Every year The Zebra Partnership leads on the Manchester City Council Walk for Women and International Women's Day Festival. Managing Director, Carol Ann Whitehead, was a former part time ACC lecturer and a couple of years ago she set up how ACC students can be involved by creating a team with three of the ACC pathways. Events, Media and Music. There are opportunities to perform, manage the sound and film the event.

Since early October, charities have been submitting their films into the 2023 Charity Film Awards. And now it's time to do your bit to support them by voting. They're not asking for your money, or your time, they simply want you to help spread the word about their film by voting and sharing on social media. Charities need our support more than ever, and this year, winning charities will receive cash prizes to support and further their causes.

CAREERS IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES

Explore the world of careers in the creative industries with this series created by Creative Portal and ERIC. Each event will focus on one of the 16 different creative industries and will feature 2 creative speakers; one industry expert covering the breadth of careers within the industry and one speaker who currently works in the industry. There will also be a Q&A opportunity. TEEN TECH LIVE EVENTS
October-March

Hosted by well-known science and technology reporters, Teen Tech interactive sessions are fun, engaging and provide insight into careers and the way exciting emerging technology is shaping all aspects of our lives. Sessions cover topics such as animation, virtual and augmented reality, smart cities, sustainable design, transport innovation and future energy. These virtual sessions last an hour and there is the option to work on short challenges or projects and participate in a follow-up feedback session with industry experts.

INTO FILM AWARDS 2023

The Into Film Awards is the best place to showcase your filmmaking talent, with categories designed to highlight the large pool of young creatives in the UK. The deadline for entries is 31 March 2023 and even if you submit before then, you can return to your entry and edit it up until that date.
